Hexcel and Safran Expand Contract for Aircraft Composite Materials
Hexcel and Safran expand their global long-term supply agreement
Hexcel and Safran have expanded their global long-term agreement to include supplies for Safran’s cabin, seats, and aerosystems programs in addition to the existing engine programs. Hexcel supplies high-performance, advanced composites, such as carbon fiber, as well as adhesives, prepregs, and dry fabrics for aircraft engines and interiors. Thierry Viguier, vice president of Safran Materials Purchasing, said, “Hexcel has shown again, during this difficult period of time, that they are a strong and reliable long-term partner.” The two companies have worked together for more than 35 years now and look forward to a long partnership serving the aerospace industry in the future.
